Kampala, Uganda: Uganda’s security departments notably Traffic and Military police have teamed up to bring to an end unruly motorists majorly from government institutions who adamantly undermined set traffic rules and regulations in the name of Government.
It is evident to Ugandans that such people have been donning their vehicle seats with uniforms in pursuit of scaring Ugandans and enforcers.
Many road uses have been disrupted by such element due to violating set traffic standards.
ASP Faridah Nampiima, Uganda’s Traffic Police spokesperson revealed that they have collaborated with Military Police in a campaign against such behavior.
For this to be effective ‘Afande’ Nampiima noted that their operation will always focus on suitable time ‘peak hours’ which is mostly preferred to these people.
She vowed to impound all vehicles found violating rules and warned victims of consequences that may follow. Watchful should also be users of unauthorized sirens and flash lights.
