KAMPALA: It is with deep concern that I speak about the circumstances that led to your departure from the Uganda Human Rights Commission. The way you were treated was regrettable, and it fell short of the dignity and respect a public servant of your caliber and commitment deserves.
Since we met in November 2022, I remain profoundly grateful to you. You adopted me with kindness, mentored me, supported me, and guided me with integrity and compassion. You invested in my growth and led by example.
As you begin another great journey, I wish you every success and continued distinction. You will always be my Mum, and you will always hold a special place in my life.
