MBALE: The National Resistance Movement (NRM) regional entry meeting for the Bugisu sub-region is underway in Mbale City under the stewardship of Hon. Emmanuel Lumala Dombo, the sub-regional Coordinator.
The high-level engagement has drawn several Party officials, including Members of Parliament, flag bearers, registrars, district chairpersons, administrators, and other invited leaders.
In his opening remarks, Hon. Dombo called on Party leaders to uphold transparency and accountability in the execution of their mandate. He noted that strong governance at the grassroots is critical for the NRM to maintain public trust and deliver on its development agenda.
Hon. Dombo further stressed the need for deliberate mentorship of young cadres to prepare them for future leadership roles. He urged senior members to guide and support the youth to ensure a smooth transition once the old guard retires, adding that nurturing the next generation is key to sustaining the Party’s ideology and longevity.
