KAMONKOLI, BUKEDI: The NRM National Treasurer and Bukedi Sub-region Team Leader, Ambassador Barbara Nekesa Oundo, has arrived at Marple Cottages in Kamonkoli for the Bukedi Sub-region entry meeting ahead of the 2026 Local Council elections.
Amb. Oundo is accompanied by Bukedi Sub-regional Coordinator Mr. Rogers Mulindwa, who also serves as Senior Manager, Communication and Media, together with members of the sub-regional team.
The meeting has convened party leaders, Members of Parliament, and other key stakeholders to coordinate mobilisation efforts, strengthen party structures, and enhance preparations for grassroots elections.
Speaking at the engagement, officials underscored the importance of unity, accountability, and strategic planning to ensure the Party’s competitiveness at the LC level.
The session is part of the NRM’s broader nationwide drive to mobilise party structures, streamline grassroots activities, and guarantee effective participation and victory in the forthcoming Local Council elections.
