By Julius Mugaga Tukacungurwa, Umoja Standard.

KYANKWANZI: Day Four of the NRM Leaders’ Retreat is currently in session, featuring an intensive programme dedicated to ideology, governance, and national transformation.

The day’s deliberations place deliberate emphasis on patriotism and ideological orientation as indispensable drivers of principled leadership, policy coherence, and sustained service to the nation.

Participants are engaging in focused sessions on the core principles of Musevenomics, the strategic deployment of infrastructure as a catalyst for inclusive socio-economic growth, the mandate of the National Executive Committee in advancing national development priorities, and a critical review of the Constitution with particular attention to the doctrine of separation of powers in safeguarding institutional integrity.

The proceedings affirm that a deeply internalized sense of patriotism, coupled with a clear ideological framework, is essential for aligning leadership conduct with the NRM’s long-term vision for Uganda.

The programme will conclude with interactive plenary discussions, a formal dinner engagement, and structured experience sharing aimed at consolidating insights and translating them into actionable strategies for national progress.
