Patriotism Defined: National Patriotism Corps Commissioner, Hellen Seku Praised for Act of Kindness to Maama Muhoozi

Kampala, Uganda: Mbabazi Prossy, affectionately known as Maama Muhoozi, has publicly expressed her profound gratitude to Hellen Seku, Commissioner of the National Patriotism Corps, highlighting a personal experience that brings out the true meaning of patriotism. Speaking after a period of recovery from recent eye surgery, Maama Muhoozi lauded Seku not only for her exemplary leadership within the National Patriotism Corps but also for her compassionate act of covering her hospital bills.

“I take this opportune moment to greatly thank my boss Hellen Seku, the Commissioner National Patriotism Corps, for the good office work and paying my hospital bills when I had an eye surgery,” Maama Muhoozi stated. “You really showed me the real heart of patriotism. Madam Hellen, you’re also amazing that you’re not only my boss but a caregiver indeed. May God richly bless you.”

Maama Muhoozi’s testimony casts Seku as more than just a leader, portraying her as a compassionate individual deeply invested in the well-being of her team. The act of covering the hospital bills transcends professional obligations, revealing a personal commitment to the values of care and support.

Beyond the National Patriotism Corps, Maama Muhoozi acknowledged the remarkable generosity of individuals from across the political landscape. She expressed her sincere appreciation to Hajjat Sharifah Buzeki, the new Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority, for extending support upon learning of her illness via social media. She also thanked Hajji Kakande for his financial assistance, as well as all those who visited her during her recovery.

Turning her attention to the political arena, Maama Muhoozi congratulated all those who emerged victorious in the recent National Resistance Movement (NRM) primaries and party structure elections. She specifically commended her former colleagues at the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) for their success, acknowledging their significant contributions to party mobilization. “Whenever I see the NRM flag raised, I feel the joy,” she declared, emphasizing her dedication to the party’s principles.

Now fully recovered, Maama Muhoozi declared her readiness to resume her mobilization efforts nationwide, advocating for the NRM and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. She called upon all NRM supporters to unite and rally behind the party’s leadership. “I want to thank the Almighty God that I have now fully recovered and ready to start off my mobilization countrywide for NRM Party and our brand President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni,” she announced. “I call upon all NRM Foot soldiers to come up and we rally for president Museveni and NRM.”
