UNEB as of 31st May, 2024 had registered a total of 1,172,114 for Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE)- New Curiculum, and the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations.  At PLE, the number of candidates registered so far exceeds the total candidature of last year.
