An Egyptian National who went missing in Soroti last week has been found dead. The body of the man identified as Ahmed Zinhom Ibrahim Selim, 32, was found in Awoja Swamp on Saturday, March 2 by area residents. The Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba visited Kakira Sugar Limited at the invitation of the company’s Managing Director, Mr Mayur Madhvani. Gen. Kainerugaba was taken on a tour of the factory and was briefed on current production figures and future targets. Information on the company’s website indicates that it was established by Muljibhai Prabhudas Madhvani in 1930, making it one of the oldest sugar milling companies in Uganda.
