Museveni Lauds Koboko District for Remarkable Progress

Kampala, Uganda: President Museveni highlighted Koboko’s significant advancements under the Parish Development Model (PDM), noting that the district has received Shs18.2 billion to support over 18,000 households in joining the money economy.

He also pointed out improvements in access to safe water, which now reaches 79% of villages, and the arrival of electricity, powering homes, schools, and businesses.

In education, Museveni mentioned the presence of 59 government primary schools, 6 government secondary schools, and 2 new Seed Schools under construction, aiming to ensure every sub-county has one.

These developments demonstrate the government’s commitment to enhancing the district’s infrastructure and economy.
