GULU, ACHOLIOLAND: A team of technical staffs from Gulu Disrict visited Amuru District, yesterday in a learning visit hosted by Amuru District local government.
Several projects of Micro scale irrigation scheme were also visited. “Most of government programs is not doing well due lack of teams work, information gap and limited consultations by implementers and this is a serious bottleneck to social economic transformation”, Gulu Deputy RDC Cosmas tipped the delegations.
Okidi thanked Amuru District for accepting Gulu to go and learn the best practices in the district as per the implementation of Micro scale irrigation programs.
He said government is injecting a lot of money/funds in agricultural sectors but little is being felt in the communities, and this must stop forthwith.
He also thanks Gulu district for a well thoughts ideology as per the knowledge that was exchanged.
