Kasese: Mpondwe residents are wailing after a bomb exploded killing 10 people at a church in Kasindi Town and many nursing wounds at Lhubiriha Town in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
One of the witnesses stated that most of the injured people who had gathered for Sunday prayers were rushed to the General Hospital.
The incident has happened at the border half kilometres from Uganda, and its feared that some of the victims were Ugandans or people with relatives and friends who live in Congo.
The explosion took place at a crusade that had attracted many people, the preacher was blind man known as Pastor Kipofu Jerome, and no one has claimed responsibility.
However, the area is known to be having Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebels roaming the area
