Kampala, Uganda: The Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has emphasized its commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship at the 5th KCCA Suppliers’ Conference held at Imperial Royale Hotel. Speaking at the event, KCCA Executive Director, Hajjat Sharifah Buzeki, highlighted the importance of building sustainable supply chains, driving greener and more resilient growth for Kampala.

The conference brought together contractors, suppliers, and partners to champion sustainable practices in the city’s development. Minister for Kampala, Hajat Minsa Kabanda, reinforced the government’s commitment to accountability and environmental stewardship, aligning with KCCA’s vision for a liveable city.
Buzeki emphasized that every contract awarded by KCCA is anchored in sustainability, resilience, and long-term value, aiming to safeguard ecosystems, empower youth and women, and shape a city that will be proud to be passed on to future generations.
The KCCA ED called on stakeholders to lead responsibly, innovate boldly, and work together to build a liveable city. The conference underscored KCCA’s dedication to responsible and sustainable urban development.
