Wakiso, Uganda: Friday, the fraternity of Avance International University came together in a powerful moment of reflection and unity for University Prayer Day where Students, staff, and community members from different divides gathered to offer their supplications for peace, wisdom, and hope.
The prayer session was seen as a tool that bind them having come from different paths, but united by one purpose.
The prayer mass ran from morning to evening, thanking the Lord of the great duties done with in the institution. Students, lectures, board of directors, religious leaders from protestant religion, Catholic religion and the Islamic religion graced the occasion.
Dr Gracious Ariyo Kazaara, who doubles as the Chairperson Board of Director’s Committee and Board member at the university’s Editorial Team encouraged students to continue the right path and focus on their goals passionately with purpose.
As the Avance family recognized the goodness of the Lord, they also dedicated the institution to the Almighty in all it’s operation structures reckoning on biblical scriptures from 1Samuel 7-12
and 1Corinthians 5-10 encouraging students to continue trusting the Lord and seek guidance in the smooth and tough times.
Students were urged to trust the institution as it was from the beginning for their academic triumph.
The Vice chancellor, Dr Kato Kimata Joshua gave crucial testimonies of where the University has come from to where it is calling it from “Grass to Grace”
On the other hand, he noted, “Even when we belong to different religious denominations as believers, remember that we have one purpose.”
He also mentioned that the charter is easy to get. As a University, he said, they would like to diverse initiate more new programs like Bachelor of Surgery, Public Health and others.

Avance International University was founded in 2016 ,It is a higher education Institution located in NABWERU -Wakiso district.
