Mpasaana, Kakumiro: Hon. Agaba Aisa Black, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Bugangaizi East Constituency, On Saturday expressed her profound gratitude to H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the President of Uganda, during the Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja’s thanksgiving ceremony held at Mpasaana Primary School Playground. In her heartfelt speech, Hon. Agaba Aisa Black commended the President’s visionary leadership and initiatives aimed at accelerating wealth creation in the country, particularly through the Parish Development Model.

One of the notable achievement highlighted was upgrading of Christ the King Seed SS, Mpasaana, which has significantly enhanced education standards in the constituency. This development inks the government’s commitment to improving education infrastructure, thereby empowering the youth with the knowledge and skills necessary for the country’s future growth and prosperity.

Furthermore, Hon. Agaba Aisa Black lauded the President for introducing a fully-fledged ambulance system in Bugangaizi East. This initiative has undoubtedly improved healthcare services, ensuring timely medical attention for residents in need. However, she also seized the opportunity to request the President to release additional funds for the continued construction of the Operating Theater which is one of the prerequisites of HCIV upgrade at Kisiita HCIII, which would further elevate health standards in the area.

In addition, she appealed to the President to prioritize infrastructure development. Specifically, she urged him to grant the Nalweyo-Kisiita-Nkooko-Masodde road a tarmac finish, especially considering the pipeline that passes through the route. This infrastructure upgrade would not only enhance transportation but also facilitate economic activities in the area.

Another significant issue raised was the demand for Kisiita to be granted district status. She expressed concerns that the current leadership under Kakumiro District is allegedly selling jobs, leaving the youth of Bugangaizi East with limited opportunities. This plea highlights the need for more localized governance to ensure equitable distribution of resources and opportunities.

Hon. Agaba Aisa Black also extended her gratitude to President Museveni for his efforts in paying absentee landlords and combating land grabbers in the area. Recognizing the critical role land plays in wealth creation and security, she appealed for additional funding for the Uganda Land Commission to expedite the resolution of land disputes. This, she emphasized, is crucial for ensuring land safety and facilitating the government’s wealth creation programs.

MP Agaba Aisa has tremendously transformed Bugangaizi in areas of water coverage, land title issuance & settling land disputes, infrastructure development (roads), power connection, health status elevation and many more.
