JUST IN: S.4 Results Out This Week, UNEB Confirms

Kampala, Uganda: Officially, the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) will this week release examination results for the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) under the new and transitional curriculum.

This will be the second set of national exam results to be released this year, following the release of the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results in January.

UNEB Monday announced in a brief that the #UCE2024 results release, long-awaited by S.4 vacists and parents will be released this week, kicking off with a scheduled briefing of the Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Museveni at State House Nakasero, as it is the norm over the years.

The 2024 UCE results are set to be the first cohort of the New Lower Secondary Curriculum and the last cohort of the Old Curriculum/ Transitional candidates as the country moves to revolutionize the education sector.

The UNEB Executive Secretary, Dr Daniel Odongo is expected to deliver the official announcement after the meeting with First Lady and share insights into the candidates’ performance and examination integrity when the results are released.

UNEB’s official figures show that a total of 379,748 candidates sat for the UCE examinations between October and November 2024.
