Using his X Account, Bebe Cool addressed a pervasive concern among Airtel users, decrying the swift exhaustion of data without a clear explanation.
In a tweet directed at Airtel Uganda, he wrote: “@Airtel_Ug Buying 22-GBs of data at 21:56, only to receive an alert of 5GBs left & 17GBs gone with only a single click of TikTok. Airtel, I might afford another bundle but not at the cost of cheating me. I urge you to return my unused data before 10:00 am in the morning or else I am instituting a legal action against you at your own cost & embarrassment.”
Expressing his frustration with the mysterious data depletion, Bebe Cool has threatened legal action if the issue is not resolved by 10 am. He narrated a specific incident where 22 gigabytes of data seemingly evaporated into thin air, leaving him with a mere 5 gigabytes after a single TikTok click.
Amidst financial concerns, Bebe Cool underscored his unwillingness to tolerate what he perceives as deceptive practices, emphasizing that, despite his ability to afford another data bundle, he refuses to be taken advantage of.
Airtel Uganda has also took it seriously to respond to Bebe Cool’s allegations, “Hello@BebeCoolUG, Kindly receive our sincere apologies about that. Would you mind share the affected number so that we can have it checked.”- they tweeted.
