JINJA CITY: Police in Jinja has arrested one Mukodha Lydia who is a teacher from PMM Girls SS, Jinja over allegations of being a lesbian.
Yesterday Umoja Standard published a story where a mob had wanted to storm the School in Jinja City seeking that the school chases away this teacher after getting reports that she has been practicing lesbianism however the group was blocked by Police as they approached.
On guidance of Police, the school organized an emergency meeting to establish the allegation. It was found out the teacher in question might be having knowledge about the matter so she was arrested together with her partner- (not student of the school).
The partner’s name has been withheld in order to enable investigations go slowly.
Via a phone interview, James Mubi- the Kira Region Police spokesperson to Umoja Standard that they have already arrested the suspect with said partner.
Mr. Mubi said that according to what they have gathered, Mukhoda had rented a house where she usually practiced lesbianism acts with partner.
“The partner is not a student of the school but an outsider who revealed that the two have many times met in the rented house and lodges”. Said Mubi.
However, he withheld the ‘partners’ name in order not to distort investigations. He added after interrogating the partner, she went on to reveal how the suspect used to cheat on her with young girls.
