NATIONAL: Mbarara City North Legislator Hon. Robert Mwesigwa Rukaari who doubles as National Resistance Movement-NRM party National Executive Committee-CEC member and Entrepreneurs League chairman has been arrested and remanded to Luzira over the huge sums of debt.
It is said Two money lenders were given December 20 and December 31, 2022 respectively to have their money paid, or have Hon Rukaari arrested after he failed to honor his promise of paying Ugx992 million to city businessman Gerald Kalungi which he obtained and set a payment deadline of December 20,2022.
This after he appeared before Commercial Court Division of High Court in Kampala on Wednesday, 1st, March, 2023.
