President Museveni’s son Muhoozi Kainerugaba has today afternoon 10th Oct been decorated as a four-star army general in Bombo army headquarters. Muhoozi was decorated by his wife Charlotte and presidential advisor Gen. Salim Saleh in a glamourous ceremony.
Gen. Muhoozi was raised to this sought-after rank last week following changes in army leadership made by president Museveni who is the commander in Chief that saw the first son being dropped as Commander of land forces and replaced by Maj Gen Kayanja Muhanga.
President Museveni dropped his son Muhoozi Kainerugaba after sending controversial tweets on how his army can attack and capture Kenya’s Nairobi in just two weeks, something that thrashed up a storm on social media.
The Ugandan government through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs trashed Muhoozi’s tweets telling the Kenyan government to ignore the threats and president Museveni came out to apologize to the Kenyan nationals on behalf of his son. After attaining the highest rank in the army, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba at just 48years old joins a list of Uganda’s few generals in the UPDF.
