A number of rigid balaalo herdsmen to adhere to directives in northern Uganda are slowly and secretly movinth their herds to neighboring districts to do away with eviction. A Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) soldier has been knocked dead by a speeding Police truck at Rackoko village, Awere sub-county in Pader district. Pader Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Milton Odongo has confirmed the death of the army officer only identified as Private Ojok. The Police in Mbarara City have arrested 41 people in an operation to crack down on suspected criminals terrorizing residents. The suspects were arrested on Wednesday in areas of Kakoba roundabout at tree shade, Lubiri, and behind London Arcade corridors. A woman who complained of incessant clicking and rustling sounds in her ear was found to have a spider crawling inside the ear in a bizarre incident. The 64-year-old woman (who did not wish to be named) from Taiwan visited an ear, nose, and throat clinic after she struggled to sleep for several nights due to the weird feeling in her ear.
