President Museveni has appointed Brigadier Asaph Nyakikuru Mweteise as the deputy commander of the Special Forces Command. Nyakikuru, who was two months ago promoted from the rank of Colonel to Brigadier, will take over from Brigadier Charity Bainababo. A Mombasa-based lawyer Jared Magolo has recounted how, 17 years ago a magistrate got a rude shock when a suspect facing robbery with violence charges splashed human waste on her.
