Five bodies have been retrieved after part of the quarry caved in at Nganjo Village, Namulanda Ward, Kajjansi Town Council in Wakiso District. The dead have been identified as Abdu Nsumba, 35, a driver of a truck, Ronald Kaggwa, 30, Vincent Kasule, Junior Irumba, 24, and Posiano Lubogo. Kenya’s Supreme Court upheld William Ruto’s victory in last month’s presidential election, dismissing his rival Raila Odinga’s claims that the vote was marred by rigging and irregularities.
