Kampala, Uganda: The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) leader, Patrick Oboi Amuriat, condemned the increased attacks on security forces and demanded an official explanation from the Commander in Chief President Yoweri Museveni. Sembabule, Uganda: Sembabule district has approved the creation of new administrative units in the area despite the ban by the Ministry of Local Government. Last year, the Minister of Local Government, Raphael Magyezi issued a circular to all district chairpersons and Mayors informing them of a suspension on the creation of new administrative units in villages, parishes, sub-counties, divisions, municipalities, and districts. Kampala, Uganda: The Inspectorate of Government will publish a shame list of corrupt public officials in two months. The list will include implicated officials and those who have failed to implement recommendations from the inspectorate of government, or the court rulings arising from corruption and abuse of office cases. These include chief administrative officers, CAOs, and officers from ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs).
