Lamwo, Uganda: Ethinic attack in Pobura parish, Madi Opei sub county in Lamwo district has left least twelve grass-thatched huts smarshed by fire. According to the LCV chairperson of Lamwo district, Mr. Sisto Ocen Oyet, clashes happened on Wednesday night in Wigweng village, involving the members of Pobira and Pobura clans. Kampala, Uganda: A total of sixteen young children alleged to have been trafficked from Central Uganda parts aged between 6 and 17 years reportedly from Nansana, Kasubi, Kiboga, Kyengera, Kawaala, Kalerwe, and other parts of Kampala have been reunited with their parents. Kumi, Uganda: Yesterday in noon hours, a yet to be identified explosive that the children were playing with went off in the Kanapa village, resulting in the deaths of two children. The village of Kanapa is in the Kumi district. Patricia Egolet and Diana Marcy Achan, both 4 years old, have been identified as the two children killed in the explosion. Kigali, Rwanda: Rwanda’s government said on Wednesday that a fighter jet from Democratic Republic of Congo briefly violated its airspace, the latest accusation to fly between the two countries whose relations have frayed this year.
