Kampala, Uganda:  Uganda’s National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has taken a decision to request that the Inspectorate of Government Beti Kamya Tirwomwe conduct an investigation into the alleged misconduct of the NSSF executive director Richard Byarugaba. It is reported that in a telephone interview, the chairman of the board, Peter Kimbowa, confirmed that they have already recommended that the appropriate government agencies are to conduct investigations. East DRC: Reports indicate that two children who were playing with a grenade discovered during a bird hunt exploded and died on spot other six people wounded in eastern DR Congo, local officials revealed on Tuesday. Mogadishu, Somalia: A plane has crashed on landing at the airport in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, but there were no deaths reported among the more than 30 people on board. Footage taken from the scene near the airport in Mogadishu shows thick black smoke rising above the crash site. Firefighters doused the flames and pictures from the scene show the plane, a Fokker 50, upside down.
