Kampala, Uganda: Uganda’s National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has taken a decision to request that the Inspectorate of Government Beti Kamya Tirwomwe conduct an investigation into the alleged misconduct of the NSSF executive director Richard Byarugaba. Mogadishu, Somalia: A plane has crashed on landing at the airport in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, but there were no deaths reported among the more than 30 people on board. Footage taken from the scene near the airport in Mogadishu shows thick black smoke rising above the crash site. Firefighters doused the flames and pictures from the scene show the plane, a Fokker 50, upside down.
