Two people have been confirmed dead following an accident involving the convoy of the inspector General of Police Okoth Ochola and a bodaboda. The IGP is said to have been heading to Kampala from his country home in Tororo, Eastern Uganda when the accident happened at Buwuni Town Council, about 8 KMs from Bugiri. The deceased have so far been identified as Yunus and Jordan, both in their late 20s. Kizinda ward residents in Kizinda – Kigoma Towncouncil, Bushenyi district were on Sunday morning shocked after finding a man hanging in Church. The strange incident happened at St Kalemba Catholic Church in Kizinda when the Catholics who had come for service were informed that there was a man hanging therein. Kampala, Uganda: Makerere university has just concluded the 73rd Graduation where over ten thousand students were awarded honors in different academic displines. Statistics indicate that a total of 13,221 students graduated, of these, 6,809 are female constituting to 52% and 6,412 are male constituting to 48% at the 73rd Graduation Ceremony. Munyonyo: On Saturday fire erupted at Speke Resort Hotel Munyonyo- a subsidiary company of Ruparelia Group belonging to Uganda’stycoon Sudhir Ruparelia destroying property worth hundreds of millions of shillings.
