KAMPALA, UGANDA: The entire fraternity at Nation Media Group-owned NTV Uganda woke up to sad news on Saturday after one of their senior journalists Edward Muhumuza, 32, died in a car crash along the Entebbe Expressway. The Nation Television (NTV) journalist Edward Muhumuza has died in a car crash along Entebbe Expressway. The accident involving a Toyota Passo car he was driving, happened on Saturday morning at Mpala on the Entebbe Expressway. Tanzanian authorities said Thursday that the pilots of a Precision Air plane that crashed into Lake Victoria in November killing 19 people had ignored automatic alerts about the plane’s dangerous position. Paul Rusesabagina, who was portrayed as a hero in the Hollywood film Hotel Rwanda and was serving a 25-year sentence in Rwanda on “terrorism” charges, has had his sentence commuted by presidential order.
