By Metedio Iceta. SUDAN- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have delivered 30 tons of urgent medical supplies to Sudan today. A plane carrying supplies for injury treatment, emergency surgeries, and essential drugs arrived in Port Sudan Airport early this morning. The shipment, valued at US$ 444 000, is the first that WHO has been able to deliver by air to Sudan since the outbreak of the conflict. Kampala, Uganda: The State Minister for Karamoja Affairs, Ms Agnes Nandutu, has been granted bail by the Anti-Corruption Division of the High Court. This comes after being arraigned before courts of law in connection with the alleged diversion of iron sheets meant for vulnerable people in the Karamoja sub-region.
