One of the elderly pastors and members of the Christ Disciple’s Church (CDC) who left Uganda for Ethiopia on alleged missionary work has recently died. William Ojangole alias Obama, formerly a resident of Owarakwap village in Kadungulu sub-county, Serere district died Saturday evening after suffering a heart attack early in the day. Ojangole reportedly woke up well on Saturday, prayed, and fasted for a half day. At around 4 pm, he reportedly refreshed and broke his fast. Two university students, Innocent Wasande and Emmanuel Mwijukye, have been arrested by the police on charges of sedating a woman and subjecting her to repeated sexual assault on Independence Day, October 9. Last Sunday Christians In Luwero fled church after Bishop Ssebaggala showed up for a Sunday service being guarded by BAU Security, commonly known as bouncers. At least four children and injured 15 others on Sunday due to collapse of a church following heavy rain in southern Burundi killed according to a local official and state media. Soroti’s Chief Magistrate, Margaret Aanyu, has passed away. She died on Sunday afternoon, October 15, at Kampala Hospital. Aanyu had collapsed at her home and was taken to the hospital.
