A male individual slated to travel to Mbarara District on Thursday, October 19, collapsed and passed away at Kisenyi Bus Terminal in Kampala District’s Central Division. According to Luke Owoyesigyire, the deputy spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Police, the deceased was identified as Dickson Namanya, who had been feeling unwell before his sudden death. “A sad incident occurred at Kisenyi Bus Terminal, Central Division, Kampala, where Namanya, a passenger on the Swift Bus heading to Mbarara, suddenly and tragically passed away,” stated Owoyesigyire. For the first time in a long time, the Rwenzururu Kingdom will mark the 57th year since its leader Charles Wesley Mumbere ascended to the throne to succeed his father Isaya Mukirania Kibanzanga who died in 1966. Former minister Henry Kyemba has succumbed to diabetes-related complications aged 84, a family member has said. Henry Kisaja Magumba Kyemba (simply known as Henry Kyemba likely born 8th February 1937) was a Ugandan retired political figure who held several high positions and finally became Minister of Health during Uganda’s rule by Idi Amin.
