A stepmother identified as Komuhendo Harriet has been arrested by Masindi Police for the alleged murder by poisoning of her two stepchildren, aged 8 and 6, and the attempted murder by poisoning of a third victim, a 2-year-old child who is currently undergoing treatment at Masindi General Hospital. The opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has announced that it is indefinitely cutting all ties with the Katonga Road-based “People’s Government” faction.
