Among the new ministers joining cabinet is events promoter Balaam Barugahara who has been appointed as the state minister for Gender, Labour and Social Development (in charge of youth). Uganda’s Fountain of Honour and the Chairman of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) President on Thursday 21st March, 2024 carried out a mini Cabinet reshuffle where two Ministers were dropped, others transferred and posted to different portfolios.
