Deputy Speaker, Thomas Tayebwa, has called for the support of visiting Germany legislators to push the European Union to import more Ugandan coffee. To achieve this, Tayebwa urged the EU, especially Germany to invest in value addition of Ugandan coffee, justifying that Uganda and the rest of Africa are the biggest producers of coffee and yet the continent earns very little from the cash crop. The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has announced that, with the exception of buses, all big trucks, effective Friday 24, 2024, will use Kafu-Masindi, branch off on the left to use Hoima Biiso Buliisa Paraa road, to connect to Pakwach or Gulu Via Olwiyo, and vice versa. At least four people were killed and 16 others injured after a building collapsed on the Spanish island of Mallorca, Spanish public TV reported Thursday.
