A 43-year-old man  who allegedly burnt his 12-year-old daughter’s fingers after asking him to pay her school fees has been arrested by Police in Namayingo. The suspect is Henry Sida, a resident of Dohwe village in Buhemba Sub-county. Only identifies as Nabwire, the young dropped out of school while in Primary Four when her father refused to pay her school fees. Mr Frank Gashumba, a member of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), has been summoned to a disciplinary hearing at the PLU Secretariat following his contentious social media post targeting the Chairman of the PLU and Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
