By URN.Police in Mitooma District are hunting for a witch doctor who allegedly connived with three others to poison and kill a 45-year-old man in Butagatsi village, Mitooma District. The others, who are also on the run include Ruth Muhairwe, the deceased’s wife, Patrick Mukisa, and another person only known as Kabyogamo. Residents s of Bisakabiddugala village in Kitimbwa sub-county, Kayunga District, were left in disbelief on Sunday morning when a 26-year-old man, who had been sheltered in the local LC chairperson’s house for safety from an angry mob, hanged himself. Members of the House Committee of Commissions, Statutory Authorities, and State Enterprises (COSASE) have raised concerns over the Shs20 billion allocated for the assembly of 25 Kayoola electric buses by Kiira Motors Corporation.  The legislators argued that the cost of producing each bus is significantly higher than the cost of importing a similar bus into the country.
