On Sunday morning, during a church service at Kawangare Full Gospel Church in Nairobi County, Kenya, drama erupted unexpectedly after bitter church members attacked their pastor, accusing him of forcing them to pay for a new vehicle, a Prado TX.
The members burst into screams and threw blunt objects at the main preaching podium immediately after the pastor started mocking them in his sermon.
According to a recorded incident video shared on the Inooro FM YouTube channel, the church pastor, who is seen dressed in a black suit and white shirt, starts an ordinary Sunday sermon as his congregation sets eyes on him.
The pastor is later quoted mocking his members about their inability to support him in buying a new Prado TX.
The pastor is then captured being attacked by the congregation as screams and stone-throwing join the chaotic scene.
The pastor’s clothes are seen torn as he runs for safety. The church’s successful community support showcased unity and accomplishment among its members.
Unfortunately, discord arose when the bishop adamantly expressed a preference for a Prado over a Harrier vehicle, causing discontent.
This escalated as the bishop insisted on his desired vehicle, straining the congregation financially and increasing tensions.
Over time, the bishop’s dissatisfaction permeated his sermons, leading to the use of bitter words and insults towards the congregation.
The pastor is later captured escaping the church premises using the back door while in a torn suit.
The irate congregation is seen following him while shouting at him. “Pasta ametuchosha sasa. We bought him a new car recently. He now forces us to buy him a Prado TX,” one of the church members is heard complaining.
