The 28-year-old, known as David K’la King on social media, had reportedly shown signs of emotional distress and had contemplated suicide on multiple occasions. The tragic conclusion to his struggle came to light when one of his friends, who was called for help at 5 am, arrived at his apartment around 8 am, only to find Mwesigwa lifeless.
Heartbroken, the friend took to Twitter to share the devastating news, stating, “This is David K’la King’s friend; he called me to help him at 5 am, but I couldn’t move. Just reached his home, and I found him dead. My friend is gone 💔 called the police and took his body to Mulago with the help of the house caretaker 💔”
