The seemingly disgruntled Nakapachu on Monday 16th October 2023 went against the minimum broadcasting standards and openly allaged on air during her Ensi Eno program on 90.6 Busoga One FM that NBS FM station Manager, Esther Mirembe and her former boss’s wife who also is the CEO of the radio station practice witchcraft.
Nakapachu who first played Bobi Wine’s song of Wendi and dedicated it to Esther Mirembe and Igeme’s wife accused the duo of bewitching her.
“I have video recordings showing those people in a shrine trying to bewitch me” Nakapachu alleged live on air to the shock of her listeners.
She added that there is tension at NBS FM for fear of poison or witchcraft the reason every employee comes with his/her food and water.
She alleged that all workers at NBS FM live under fear and without trusting one another because of witchcraft.
“I suffered for seven good years, crying during every music interlude while on air just because of mistreatment from my former bosses,” Nakapachu said.
In fact after the show, Nakapachu also released an audio she recorded herself making the statements.
Nakapachu said the NBS FM is at the verge of collapse because of selfishness of the managers and witchcraft.
“You stay in Jinja City where you are aspring to vie for postion of Woman MP, I am born of Buikwe, I am not coming to compete with you politically but I don’t know why you witch hunt me, reaching the extent of going to shrines to bewitch me” Nakapachu blatantly said to her former boss Esther Mirembe.
“If you’re a good manager why is it that most of the staff at NBS are supporting your political rival Milly Babalanda whom you’re asking to bribe you to leave for her the position of Woman MP Jinja City?”. She added
Nakapachu who resigned from NBS this year and joined Kyesimira road based Busoga One says she got a warm reception from her current work station.
“Due to meagre salary, I started up my private entity named Nakapachu Foundation where I deal in different community transformation activities including mixing locally made cosmetics but when I asked for free adverts at NBS Fm one of my bosses said I couldn’t be aired even if I paid for it. What kind of boss is that?,” Nakapachu wondered.
She also added that when she talked to the Director of Busoga One, he warmly welcomed the idea and allowed her to carry on with her personal business.
“That is why I resigned at NBS and joined Busoga One,” she said.
As if that was not enough the ranting Nanteza went ahead to allege that she couldn’t work for only 2 days in a week worse of it giving her show to an academic dwarf.
“You can’t make me work for two days in a week and also tell me to work with a P.3 dropout in one program” Nakapachu ranted
This is the first time Nakapachu is coming out publicly to clear the air on why she left NBS FM.
The Eye Media contacted Esther Mirembe for a comment Tuesday October 17, 2023 morning but we had not received her response by press time.
