Overseer Brother Charles Mukundane led the momentous occasion, welcoming the newly-born again believers into the Christian family.
“This is a moment of great rejoicing, not only for us here on earth but also in heaven,” Brother Mukundane exclaimed, referencing Luke 15:10, which states, “There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
The baptism ceremony was a testament to the church’s dedication to spreading the Gospel and discipling new believers. The 38 individuals, ranging from youth to adults, demonstrated their faith by surrendering to the waters of baptism.
As they emerged from the baptismal pool, the congregation erupted in cheers and tears of joy, celebrating the transformation that had taken place in their lives.
Matthew 28:19-20 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
KSRM Church remains committed to this Great Commission, spreading the message of salvation and making disciples.
“This is just the beginning of their spiritual journey,” Brother Mukundane said. “We will continue to guide and nurture them in their walk with Christ.”
The baptism Sunday marked a significant milestone in the church’s outreach efforts, demonstrating the power of faith and community.
