The Kiteezi horror is still haunting, this morning, the Uganda Police affirmed that, with it, it has seven unclaimed bodies that were killed over the weekend in Kiteezi garbage saga in Kampala.
Addressing the media at police headquarters in Naguru a Kampala suburb, the police spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke confirmed that a total of 21 people were killed and 12 of them were males while 9 were females.
He added that out of 21 killed, 17 were adults while 4 were juveniles.
“We took all the killed persons to Mulago mortuary for Postmortem and only 14 bodies were identified by their relatives and claimed,” he says adding police are still stuck with seven unclaimed bodies.
He says the rescue teams are still at the ground to access the situation.
