Hon. Hajjat Hanifah Karadi has renewed her commitment to advancing Uganda’s development after earning a certificate upon completing a specialized Developing Countries Capacity Building Programme in Hunan Province, China, where she represented Uganda in 2019 alongside delegates from seven other developing nations.

The intensive programme equipped participants with practical approaches to resource-driven development, strategic leadership, patriotism as a catalyst for national transformation, and clean combustion technologies, including bio-thermal energy, wind power, and solar energy.

Karadi said the training strengthened her conviction that sustainable progress depends on maximizing indigenous resources, embracing innovation, and cultivating a citizenry committed to national development.

She noted that the knowledge acquired continues to inform her public service and community engagement, with a focus on promoting renewable energy solutions, responsible resource management, and inclusive socio-economic growth across Uganda.

Karadi emphasized that transferring these skills to local communities is essential for accelerating development and building resilience against future economic and environmental challenges.

Popularly identified with her signature message, “My Country, My Identity,” she called on Ugandans to embrace patriotism, innovation, and collective action, stressing that lasting national transformation can only be achieved through shared responsibility and unwavering commitment to Uganda’s future.
