Kampala, Uganda: The Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening its partnership with the Buganda Kingdom, with a view to enhancing service delivery and transforming the city.

Speaking at the Luwalo Lwaffe event at Bulange Gardens, Mengo, KCCA Executive Director, Hajjat Sharifah Buzeki, expressed appreciation for the Kingdom’s support, saying, “It was evident that the transformation of our city requires close collaboration between KCCA and Buganda Kingdom.”
Buzeki observed the Kingdom’s contributions, including hosting KCCA service delivery institutions on Kingdom land, greening the city, maintaining cultural sites, and leading the fight against HIV AIDS.

“I appreciate the great support we receive from the Kingdom, which includes but is not limited to hosting our service delivery institutions on Kingdom land, greening the city, maintaining cultural sites, and leading the fight against HIV AIDS,” she said.
The KCCA ED emphasized the importance of continued collaboration, stating, “We are committed to further strengthening this good relationship for the benefit of our city.”
The event, attended by KCCA technical and political leadership from the Central Division, provided an opportunity for the two entities to reaffirm their commitment to working together for the betterment of Kampala.
