ARUA, WEST NILE: Top National Resistance Movement (NRM) officials, including Vice Chairperson for the Northern Region Hon. Hamson Obua, Veterans League Chairperson Lt. (Rtd) Moses Mushabe, and Party Secretary General Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong, have gathered at Eripak Resort Park in Arua District for a crucial preparatory meeting.

The meeting precedes President Museveni’s upcoming campaign trail and aims to strategize for the party’s electoral success. Other key attendees included NRM Electoral Commission Vice Chairperson Jachan Omach, Director Finance and Administration Hajjat Medina Naham Ojale, and district executive committee members from the West Nile sub-region.

Ministers Joyce Moriku Kaducu and Obiga Kania were also in attendance. This high-level meeting underscores the party’s commitment to coordinated efforts as it gears up for the elections. With Uganda’s political landscape heating up, NRM’s preparations will likely play a significant role in shaping the country’s future.

The party’s roadmap for the elections, unveiled earlier this year, outlines key activities and preparations leading up to the polls, including internal party elections and mobilization efforts.
