Kampala University’s proactive approach to educational advancements:

Flowing from our strategic focus is the imperative to fully embrace Competence-Based Curricula (CBC) and associated pedagogies.

This is now a necessity, not an option. As the national education system shifts towards CBC, Kampala University is adapting swiftly.

This requires fundamental shifts in curriculum design, instructional delivery, and learning assessment, moving our focus from rote memorization to demonstrating specific competencies.

The National Council for Higher Education’s (NCHE) is strongly advocating for this transition, as a university, we are committed to aligning out programs and training our staff.

The School of Education is actively leading faculty training in integrating CBC principles into regular pedagogy workshops.

My words of encouragement to the graduating class:

I congratulate and encourage the graduands not to lose sight of their values, Integrity, compassion, and humility as they are the cornerstones of a meaningful and fulfilling life.

Treat others with kindness and respect, and use your talents and abilities to make a positive difference in the world around you.

Viva Kampala University! Viva! *2
