Kampala, Uganda: During a recent thanksgiving Sunday service for marking 36 years of Grace, Brother Charles Mukundane, overseer of Karimero Souls Redemption Ministry, emphasized the importance of putting hope in God, citing Matthew 11:28, which says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Brother Charles encouraged the congregation to trust in God, who is the only source of true rest, as stated in John 16:14.

Brother Charles also prayed for the King of Buganda, the Kabaka, asking God to grant him longevity, protection, and wisdom. He prayed for Uganda’s protection and unity among its leaders, emphasizing the need for them to work together for the people’s benefit, rather than their own selfish interests.
When asked about the Marriage Bill, which proposes allowing men to have multiple wives, Brother Charles stated that Jesus teaches that a man should have only one wife, citing that all the four Gospels of Christ emphasize that. He emphasized that families with one man and one wife are more likely to progress well and have a strong foundations as it is a mark of righteousness and faith in God.
The chief guest, Adrian Rubyayi, chairperson of Nkobazambogo, for Buganda Kingdom, Countrywide, praised the congregation for their unity and devotion to God. He encouraged them to work together to build a better church and community, citing the saying, “Nkobazambogo, Zejja Zoka Mubunya,” which means that the congregation can unite to achieve great things.
Adrian also commended Brother Charles for his humility and dedication to his congregation. He emphasized that God is the one who brings people together, and that He enables everyone to come to church to receive His blessings.
The service emphasized unity, with Adrian encouraging the congregation to hold on to unity and despise things that could divide them. He also emphasized the importance of sacrifice and living a righteous life, and thanked the parents for bringing their children to church, saying it is the best way to raise them in the ways of God.
