Kampala, Uganda: According to Nakaziba Alex, the school’s deputy headteacher, preparations are underway to ensure a smooth transition for the incoming students.

While the exact reporting date is yet to be confirmed, Alex believes it will be on January 17th. “We shall be well prepared to receive them,” he assured.

The school has classrooms and teachers in place, and they’re confident in their ability to provide a quality education.

However, Alex acknowledged that implementing the new curriculum poses some challenges, particularly with regards to integrating ICT and managing large class sizes.

“The classrooms are few, yet we are supposed to teach the learners in groups, and the learners are so many,” he explained.

Despite these challenges, the school remains optimistic about the upcoming academic year.

They’re eager to continue implementing the new curriculum and are hopeful that the government will provide the necessary support to overcome the existing challenges.
