Colloquium Objectives
To educate the participants on the different aspects of the research proposal and thesis following the university guidelines.
To motivates scholars to appreciate a PhD as an interesting and rewarding ourney.
To enhance the scholarly writing and presentation skills of the participants.
To provide a platform for critical feedback to refine research ideas,
proposals, dissertations and manuscripts being worked on by the scholars.
To stimulate networking between young and senior researchers and
promote collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Day 3 and 4: Paper Presentation Sessions
Expected Output
Get a better understanding of the administrative, policy, rules and
regulations governing the PhD in management through research.
Be able to refine their research ideas into a feasible PhD study that
can be completed in a period of three years.
Acquire scholarly writing and communication skills.
Gain more confidence, which is vital in completing their studies in record time.
Get a better understanding of the philosophical foundations andresearch designs that are suitable for their studies.
Expected Output
Get constructive feedback on the concepts, proposal, thesis and
manuscripts which will be ready for submission to blind peer-reviewed journals or outlets approved by the school’s higher degrees committee.
Be equipped with presentation skills needed to defend their work at the different levels (doctoral committee, internal seminar series,
international conference and public defense).
