Jinja, Uganda: The climax event on Saturday, will forever be etched in the memories of the thousands of young revelers who descended upon Across the Nile Resort in Jinja, Eastern Uganda, for the inaugural International Youth Festival!
Organized by International University of East Africa (IUEA) in partnership with Rosatom and Alliance Brics, this explosive celebration of youth culture, music, and fashion drew in students from across the Central region, Jinja’s institutions of higher learning, and even international delegations from Africa and beyond!

A Day Of Firsts: For many Kampala-based students, the festival offered a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the majestic Source of the Nile. Many confessed they had not interacted with the source of the Nile River and that it was an exciting moment to have a physical touch.
Cultural Extravaganza: The festival grounds transformed into a vibrant tapestry of cultures, as international and local students showcased their traditional attire and moves. Burundi’s stunning traditional wear stole the show, while Uganda’s own Nina Roz and other top artists brought the house down with electrifying performances!
