ALBAWABA- Yedioth Ahronoth reports that Hezbollah’s Radwan forces ambushed Israeli soldiers in a second strike, leaving seven soldiers seriously injured, following the deaths of eight soldiers at the same site in southern Lebanon.
The injured soldiers were transported to hospitals for urgent care.
Meanwhile, sirens blared in the cities of Nahariya, Acre, and other northern Israeli towns as dozens of rockets were fired from southern Lebanon toward Israeli targets in the Galilee.
Interceptions were reported at sea off Nahariya, and an intense missile barrage struck Nahariya, Acre, and the surrounding areas.
Earlier, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) admitted that dozens of Israeli officers and soldiers have been killed or wounded in intense clashes with Hezbollah fighters along the Lebanon-Israel border.
The IDF admitted that eight Israeli officers and soldiers were killed and seven others injured, two of them seriously, during battles in southern Lebanon. Among the dead were three majors and two captains.
