Kampala, Uganda: Uganda’s leader of the leading Opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) Party and musician, Bobi Wine, has announced the passing of his grandfather-in-law, Mzee Ernest Nvunganyi. In a heartfelt message on his social media handle, Bobi Wine expressed his condolences and sought divine comfort.
“I regret to announce the passing of my grandfather-in-law, Mzee Ernest Nvunganyi of Rukanda, Rwentobo-Ntungamo District. May the almighty God receive his gentle soul,” Bobi Wine wrote.
Mzee Nvunganyi, a resident of Rukanda in Ntungamo District, was a respected member of the community and a patriarch of the family. His passing has sent shockwaves to the family and friends, who have taken to social media to offer their condolences.
Bobi Wine, who is married to Barbie Kyagulanyi, has been known to be close to his in-laws and has often spoken about the importance of family in his life. This loss is a personal blow to him and his family.
